A little about me

Hi, I'm Holly

For nearly 20 years, I've had the privilege of helping people move more freely, reduce pain and reconnect with their bodies through massage therapy.

When I first trained as a massage therapist, I was fascinated by the way touch could influence how people felt—not just physically, but emotionally too. As my career progressed, I found myself increasingly drawn to supporting people living with persistent pain. Many had been experiencing symptoms for months or even years and often arrived feeling frustrated, overwhelmed or as though they had simply been told to "live with it."

Those experiences inspired me to deepen my understanding of pain and the human body. I completed advanced clinical training and now specialise in evidence-informed clinical massage, combining hands-on treatment with the latest understanding of pain science, fascia and the biopsychosocial model of care.

In 2024, I undertook an independent research project exploring the effects of Advanced Clinical Massage on pain and quality of life in women living with endometriosis and adenomyosis. This work strengthened my passion for supporting women with complex pelvic pain and reinforced my belief that compassionate, personalised care can make a meaningful difference.

Today, I continue to build on that work through ongoing professional development, research and teaching, ensuring my practice reflects the best available evidence while always recognising that every person and every experience of pain is unique.

My approach is centred around listening first. I take the time to understand not only where you hurt, but how your symptoms affect your daily life, your work, your hobbies and the things that matter most to you. Together, we'll explore what may be contributing to your pain and create a treatment plan that's tailored to your individual needs and goals.

Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing a long-term condition, living with persistent pain or simply looking to move with greater comfort and confidence, my aim is always the same: to provide a calm, supportive environment where you feel heard, understood and cared for.

I believe the best outcomes come from combining clinical expertise with genuine compassion, and I'd be honoured to support you on your journey towards feeling more comfortable in your body.
